Milestones
1948
Mr. Youssef El Aggar founded El Aggar Group, starting with a houseware business in Assiut.
1969
Mr. Emad El Aggar, guided by his father Mr. Youssef, joined the family business at the age of 13.
1974
The business underwent a strategic shift to tire trading under the leadership of Mr. Youssef El Aggar.
1979-1992
Mr. Emad expanded the business and emerged as the largest distributor for Bridgestone tires, followed by Michelin tires in Upper Egypt.
1987-Present
Eng. Nabil El Aggar established the Alexandria Branch, focusing on tire imports and securing the role of the first agent for certain Chinese tire brands.
1988-Present
El Aggar became the exclusive agent for JK Tyres.
1993-Present:
Eng. Nabil launched the Commercial Co Free Zone to facilitate exports to Africa.
1996-Present
El Aggar became the sole agent for Triangle Tires, specializing in heavy equipment tires.
2000
Red Tyre Trading company was established in Dubai to promote El Aggar's products in the Gulf region.
2002
WellMed factory was inaugurated in India, specializing in the production of medical disposables.
2003
General Magdy El Aggar established UltraMed for medical products in a joint venture with Poly Med, India.
2004-Present
El Aggar became the exclusive agent for Nexen Tires.
2005-2020
El Aggar became the sole agent for Goodyear Tires.
2009-Present
El Aggar secured the exclusive agency for Sumitomo Tires.
2009-Present
Atlantis Real Estate Developers was founded (60% owned by El Aggar Group).
2010-Present
El Aggar opened its first retail shop, with subsequent expansions.
2015-Present
Sidra Restaurants opened in Alexandria, with its latest branch located across the Citadel of Qaitbay.
2018-Present
El Aggar established its own Industrial zone in Beheira.
2020-Present
El Aggar became the sole agent for RoadX Tires.
2021-Present
LatexMed factory opened in El Aggar's Beheira Industrial Zone, marking one of the first medical glove factories in Egypt.
